Concerts on the Avenue

The U.S. Coast Guard Dixieland Band will perform for U.S. Navy Memorial audiences at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. This concert is free and open to the public.

The Royal Hospital School Band travelled from England to perform for U.S. Navy Memorial audiences on July 10, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. The event was free and open to the public.

The Royal Hospital School Band performed at the U.S. Navy Memorial on July 10, 2008 at noon.

The U.S. Navy Band performs out on the Navy Memorial Plaza at 8:00 p.m. every Tuesday between Memorial Day and Labor Day.  Enjoy music under the stars with world-class performers.  Check this web site periodically for last-minute weather cancellations or schedule changes.

New in 2008! We will be having a raffle throughout the summer; you can sign up in the Quarter Deck or the Navy Log room in the Naval Heritage Center.  The winner will be drawn at the end of the summer and will be contacted by email.  The prize is an 8” bronze Lone Sailor statue and a sea bag.
